Fellow Hoosiers,

I want to first thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about me.

I was born in Evansville, I went to North High School, played some football and graduated in 1997 (Go Huskies!). I served four honorable years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, and I volunteered to go to Iraq as a civilian contractor. While in the Marines, I received an education in the STEM discipline of Metrology, the science of measurement, which is the field I still work in today.

Today, I am a member of the working class making $45k a year. For me, my colleagues are my family; I work, eat and laugh with them almost every day. The thing that hurt my heart enough to run for U.S. Congress was watching a colleague sell their blood to pay the astronomical deductibles for their child's healthcare.

Healthcare is a human right.

I’m running for Congress because I’ve decided to step up and go to bat for the working class, a duty I have taken on because I have the capability and motivation. I am motivated by the very real issues . I’ve helped different individuals over the years, and the way I see it, if I can help one person, I can help all of us.

I don't just believe; I know that the Working Class hurts - I experience it with you.

I don't just believe; I know that together we can do a lot of good.
