ANTI-CORRUPTION
Only large corporations and wealthy donors like bribed politicians. Legalized bribery must end so that we the people can actually have a conversation without corporate sponsors, such as insurance companies.
Liam supports a constitutional amendment that will effectively overturn Citizens United by clearly declaring that artificial entities, such as corporations, aren’t people. This amendment would also return the elections to public financing. This proposal already has strong bi-partisan support. The amendment will require two-thirds of Congress or two-thirds of the States in a Constitutional Convention. Currently five States have resolutions applying for a convention under Article V to propose an amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
MEDICARE FOR ALL
Hoosiers are afraid of getting sick or injured. Even the insured can’t afford it anymore. Healthcare is a human right, and our health is not a commodity to be negotiated. We are struggling due to our distinct lack of insurance, and for many of us -- our healthcare debts. To negotiate with our health is an absolute outrage; the consumer of healthcare has no choice other than submitting and going into debt; no one wants to refuse service. These are our lives we’re talking about!
GREEN NEW DEAL
Legislation as proposed by Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. This is legislation that aims to address climate change and economic inequality. Climate Change is real, and it's a deadly threat. If we don't act boldly and soon, humankind could become casualty to the earth correcting itself. The cost of prevention is far and away more cost effective in resources and the human costs. Additionally, this addresses the economic inequality on Working Class Americans. Many Working Class Americans have no idea on how bad it actually is, and we're waking up to that fact.
FAIR WAGES
This is an issue we all can agree on, the Working Class American doesn't get paid enough. Corporations and billionaires keep Working Class Americans divided and fighting over the scraps. Today, Working Class Americans are the finest and most efficient in U.S. history, and it should be treated like it. In fact, we're getting kind of mad about it.
COLLEGE FOR ALL
Higher Education, whether college or vocational, should not be a direct cost to the students. Let us educate the worker using funds of those who would seek to profit off the working class. Furthermore, no educated Working Class American should be hamstrung by student debt. We, the people of the United States, paid to bailed out Wall Street; they can relieve the student debt of the people of the United States.
